Job Summary

This role is for an Onsite IT Support Technician joining a leading global IT service provider focused on infrastructure solutions for large enterprises and the public sector. Day-to-day responsibilities center on preparing for and executing network changes, including checking and performing new network cabling, verifying and reconciling patch lists, and configuring IP addresses. A critical aspect of the job involves performing troubleshooting and corrections in live network environments while ensuring minimal downtime, requiring coordination with technical project management. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of complex LAN switching infrastructures, including VLAN, STP/RSTP/MST, and LACP protocols, coupled with practical project experience in LAN rollouts. The ability to independently find solutions to technical problems is essential.
