Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Development Engineer specializing in inductive components, responsible for driving innovation from initial concept through to successful series production. Key daily tasks include calculating and designing inductive components based on specific customer requirements, planning and coordinating development projects, and introducing new magnet technologies and development tools. The engineer will manage the entire sample phase in close cooperation with production sites, and create essential technical documentation such as data sheets, construction specifications, and bills of materials. Furthermore, the position involves building and evaluating test setups, participating in internal and external audits, and providing technical customer support. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, relevant professional experience in electromagnetism and soft magnetic materials, and strong proficiency in German (C1) and English (B2). The role offers an unlimited contract and flexible working hours in a technically demanding environment.

Experience

  • Relevant professional experience in the field of electrical engineering
  • Experience in electromagnetism, soft magnetic materials, and inductivities (e.g., transformers, choke coils)
  • Experience in electrical measurement technology
  • Knowledge in manufacturing technology (winding goods, potting technology), insulation coordination, and thermal management (ideal)
