Job Summary

This critical role involves organizing, maintaining, and ensuring the security and continuous operation of network infrastructure across all company locations. The successful candidate will focus heavily on monitoring, implementing, and introducing new network components, including firewall and proxy systems. A key responsibility is the implementation and management of a company-wide Security Operations Center (SOC) and the subsequent deployment of a SIEM solution. Day-to-day activities include analyzing, processing, and resolving disruptions and technical vulnerabilities, alongside actively developing network and security standards and evaluating new technologies. This position is within KNDS Deutschland, a major player in the consolidation of military land systems in Europe, offering complex and challenging work in a high-security environment. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical training with an IT Security focus, coupled with several years of relevant professional experience and strong command of both German and English.
