Job Summary

This role is for a Communications Systems Development Engineer within an internationally successful company in the Defense industry based in Bremen. The core responsibilities involve the full lifecycle management of radio and communication systems, from initial conception and detailed specification through to integration, testing, and commissioning both in the lab and on-site at the customer location. A key focus is defining technical requirements, creating comprehensive system and interface specifications, and actively troubleshooting technical issues in hardware and software components. You will also be responsible for planning and executing system tests and documenting test concepts. Candidates must possess a completed technical degree (such as Electrical Engineering or Communications Technology) and strong foundational knowledge of networking, bus systems (like CAN, EtherCAT, and Ethernet), and serial interfaces.
