Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Hardware Developer to join an internationally successful company within the Defence industry based in Bremen. The primary focus is on the design, realization, and maintenance of complex electronic assemblies, specializing in real-time applications and programmable logic. Day-to-day tasks include developing programmable logic (FPGA, specifically Xilinx Ultrascale), creating and maintaining essential development documentation (specifications, design rules, manufacturing guidelines), and conducting integration tests encompassing both FPGA and software components. The developer will also be responsible for performing commissioning both in-house and at customer sites. Candidates must hold a Master's or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and possess strong expertise in developing complex electronic modules, including firmware. Success requires a highly structured, independent, and goal-oriented working style, coupled with essential knowledge of the Xilinx Ultrascale / ARM architecture and a readiness for interdisciplinary collaboration with embedded software and mechanical design teams.
