Job Summary

This role involves serving as an IT System Administrator with a strong focus on network infrastructure for Landesforsten Rheinland-Pfalz, managing IT systems across approximately 50 locations. The administrator will be responsible for participating in and leading IT infrastructure projects, ensuring network security according to BSI standards in collaboration with the Information Security Officer, and designing the central and decentralized network architecture. Day-to-day tasks include the technical administration of network components such as firewalls, switches, and access points, providing second-level support, and contributing to the training of IT specialists. Key requirements include a degree in Informatics or a related field, deep knowledge of network technologies, and the ability to continuously improve existing infrastructure and processes. The position offers a responsible, varied, and challenging full-time, permanent contract in a family-friendly environment.
