Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position as an IT System Administrator focusing on Windows is based in Emmelshausen, supporting the Rhineland-Palatinate State Forestry administration. The role is central to maintaining and evolving the organization's IT landscape across approximately 50 sites. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading IT infrastructure projects, ensuring system security compliance (BSI-Grundschutz), and the technical design and administration of Windows server systems, including domain services like DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs). You will also provide critical Second-Level Support and collaborate closely with external data center service providers. Candidates must possess a university degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with fundamental expertise in Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
