Job Summary

The Laboratory Engineer will be responsible for the planning, organization, and continuous development of the high-frequency measurement technology laboratories for the Chair of Integrated Systems. Day-to-day tasks include independently conceptualizing, executing, and optimizing measurements on integrated RF circuits (including on-wafer testing, network analysis, and spectrum analysis). A critical component of the role involves developing new measurement methods, calibration strategies, and automating measurement sequences. The engineer will manage equipment selection, integration, maintenance, and calibration, ensuring high availability and quality of results for research projects. The position requires a university degree in Electrical Engineering or Communications Technology with a specialization in High-Frequency or Circuit Technology, coupled with relevant professional experience in high-frequency measurement techniques, network analysis, and on-wafer metrology. Strong problem-solving skills, didactic abilities to support students, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.
