Job Summary

This is a full-time, permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to fundamental research on stress-related diseases, integrating psychology, biology, and medicine. The successful candidate, ideally a trained Biological or Medical Technical Assistant (BTA/MTA), will be responsible for the experimental execution and evaluation of molecular, cellular, and biochemical studies. Key daily duties include the meticulous processing and purification of various tissue samples, managing sample archiving, and assisting with general laboratory organization. Essential qualifications include proven knowledge of core molecular biology techniques such as ELISA, qPCR, PCR, and RFLP, along with practical experience handling DNA/RNA and investigating epigenetic patterns of DNA/Chromatin. The role requires strong organizational skills, motivation, and proficiency in MS Office and specialized analysis software to support the lab's research focus effectively.

Education

Completed training as a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) or Medical Technical Assistant (MTA) or comparable qualification.
