Job Summary

This role involves actively securing Germany's energy transition as an IT Project Manager within the Federal Cybersecurity Authority (BSI). The specialist will focus on developing and advancing functional requirements and robust IT security specifications for critical Smart Grid components, including Smart-Meter-Gateways and control devices. Key responsibilities include coordinating technical standards and specifications with a wide range of stakeholders—from government bodies and manufacturers to energy consumers—to ensure "Security by Design." Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Informatics, IT Security, or a related field, coupled with strong knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the energy sector. Practical experience in designing security architectures for networked systems and managing complex technical processes is essential. Required Skills

Education

University Degree (Master or equivalent Diploma) in Informatics, Technical Informatics, Mathematics, IT Security, Communications Technology, Business Informatics, or a comparable field with an IT focus.

Experience

  • Knowledge, preferably in the areas of energy and digitalization
