Job Summary

This critical role requires a Site and Test Field Commissioning Manager to oversee the planning and execution of testing and commissioning activities for complex High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission systems. The manager is responsible for leading an international team of commissioning engineers, ensuring all projects meet stringent deadlines, budget requirements, and quality standards, while strictly adhering to legal and occupational safety regulations. Key daily tasks include organizing Functional System Tests (FST) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), monitoring site progress, documenting work, and conducting technical clarifications with clients. Candidates must hold a degree or technical certification in Electrical or Energy Technology, coupled with multi-year professional experience managing commissioning for large-scale energy infrastructure like power plants or HVDC systems. Success requires strong leadership, positive conflict resolution skills, fluency in German and negotiation-level English, and a mandatory willingness for extensive worldwide travel and long-term assignments on both onshore and offshore sites.
