This System Engineer role at Siemens Energy focuses on the critical planning, setup, commissioning, and documentation of real-time simulators essential for Control & Protection Engineering and Factory Tests. The daily work involves project-specific configuration and operation of these simulators, particularly for High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) and Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) applications. A core responsibility is performing and documenting Factory Tests in collaboration with the development team and ensuring successful project execution. Candidates must hold a university degree (Bachelor or Master) in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Engineering. Success requires initial professional experience in converter, high voltage, and digital simulation technologies, coupled with basic knowledge of real-time simulation systems like RTDS or comparable tools such as Matlab/Simulink.
