Job Summary

This role is for a Development Engineer specializing in Power Supply and Computer Systems within a high-end defense technology company in Bremen. The core responsibilities involve the electrical development of simple electromechanical devices, segments, and systems, ensuring compliance with requirements and manufacturing standards. Day-to-day tasks include defining specific unit requirements, designing and configuring the responsible unit, selecting appropriate standard and purchased components, and coordinating crucial interfaces with the PCB development department. The engineer will also be responsible for creating overall wiring diagrams, defining specifications for system cable development, performing product data maintenance in SAP PLM (including BOM creation), and planning and executing integration, commissioning, and testing activities to ensure series production readiness. This position requires strong expertise in electrical drives, power supplies, computer systems, and interface electronics, along with proficiency in German and English.
