Job Summary

This role involves supporting the operational and network technology infrastructure for one of Germany's largest infrastructure operators, managing thousands of kilometers of highways. The Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and fault resolution of operational and traffic control equipment during new construction, renovations, and ongoing electronic system upkeep. Key day-to-day tasks include identifying and classifying faults, executing repairs, managing system installations and changes, and administering active network components within the operational networks (Layer 2 and Layer 3). Candidates must possess a technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, IT, or related fields, strong expertise in network administration, and fluency in German. The position requires reliability, self-reliance, high resilience, and participation in on-call duty, offering a stable, critical role in maintaining Germany's central mobility and economic arteries.
