Job Summary

This role offers a motivated part-time student the opportunity to support the Planning Department of the German Federal Highway Company (Autobahn GmbH) in Montabaur. The position provides deep insight into critical planning areas, including surveying, land acquisition, and drainage systems, essential for maintaining Germany's extensive highway network. Day-to-day responsibilities involve assisting project engineers with design and execution planning, preparing necessary tender documents for planning contributions related to federal highways, rest areas, and noise protection facilities, adhering to the HOAI fee structure. The student will also contribute to operational tasks such as managing construction contracts, creating comprehensive planning documents, explanatory reports, and performing cost estimates and calculations. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program, ideally having completed foundational studies, and possess strong organizational, communication, and standard software (MS Office) skills to work effectively in a structured, interdisciplinary environment.
