Join KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA as a Technical Assistant in the Genome Editing Trait Discovery Team, contributing to cutting-edge plant science. This role involves planning and executing molecular biology experiments, including cloning, PCR, and DNA extraction, ensuring meticulous documentation. You will also support the internal RNA service by performing RNA extractions and quantifying DNA and transcript levels using qPCR and qRT-PCR. Additionally, the position includes planning and conducting greenhouse experiments with transgenic plants, such as hand crosses and sample collection. This full-time, initially two-year contract role, with potential for permanent employment, is based in Einbeck, Germany, and offers a dynamic environment combining product-oriented research with essential service work.
