Job Summary

This role involves the detailed planning and execution of Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MCR) technology for large-scale photovoltaic (PV) and battery storage facilities, often integrated into complex hybrid energy systems (10 to 1000 MW). The Project Planner is responsible for creating technical specifications for components like Energy Management Systems (EMS) and services, ensuring strict compliance with relevant VDE and IEC standards (e.g., IEC 62109). Day-to-day tasks include developing network plans, communication diagrams, and technical drawings, as well as coordinating technical processes from planning through commissioning with customers, suppliers, and grid operators. A key focus is developing operating strategies and protection requirements for seamless integration of hybrid systems (renewables, battery, conventional generators). Candidates must hold a technical degree in fields like Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology and possess professional experience in MCR planning for renewable energy projects, coupled with strong analytical skills and fluent English proficiency.

Completed technical degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Energy Technology, or comparable)

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning MCR technology, preferably in PV, battery storage, and/or wind energy projects
  • Proficiency in planning and specification of SCADA, monitoring, and energy management systems
  • Familiarity with international large-scale PV projects and local laws/regulations (or willingness to quickly acquire this knowledge)
