Job Summary

Dornier Suntrace is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for Battery and Grid Connections to join their team in Hamburg. This role is crucial for the electrical technical processing of large-scale renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, Battery, Hybrid Systems), supporting capacities ranging from 10 MW to 1000 MW. The engineer will be responsible for the design and execution planning of electrical systems, including component selection, dimensioning of low and medium voltage installations, and planning up to the grid connection point. Key day-to-day tasks involve coordinating internal and external experts, managing grid studies and protection concepts, supporting construction supervision, and handling EPC tenders for electrical trades in the low, medium, and high voltage range. The ideal candidate must possess a completed degree in Electrical Engineering, a minimum of four years of experience in PV system planning or construction, and proficiency in relevant planning software. This position offers the opportunity to work internationally on complex, innovative renewable projects, requiring fluent communication in both German and English.
