Job Summary

This leadership role involves managing the electrical maintenance department for the fully automated SkyTrain system at Düsseldorf Airport, a critical component connecting the terminal and IC train station. The successful candidate will lead a team of approximately 45 colleagues, taking responsibility for the complete operational execution and maintenance of the SkyTrain's electrical systems and infrastructure. Key daily tasks include disciplinary and technical leadership, planning, directing, and controlling the maintenance area, ensuring the technical operational safety of passenger vehicles and infrastructure, and overseeing work preparation and quality checks for maintenance orders. The role requires a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, several years of professional experience with leadership responsibility, ideally in rail vehicle maintenance, and fluency in German.
