Job Summary

This R&D Electrical Engineer role focuses on developing innovative solutions for the protection and control of next-generation intelligent energy grids, contributing significantly to the sustainable energy transition. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing concepts and algorithms for critical power system products, writing best-practice code according to industry standards, and implementing automated testing. A key aspect of the role involves leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms to analyze existing systems, propose optimization strategies for performance and sustainability, and develop AI-supported test methods to enhance the reliability of new grid technologies. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, coupled with long-term professional experience in R&D. Required technical knowledge includes electrical system protection, simulation of electrical energy networks, and fundamental professional software development skills (C/C++, Git, Python/Matlab/Simulink). Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge in professional software development using C/C++ and Git, as well as Python or Matlab/Simulink
