Job Summary

This role is for a Lead Medical Physics Expert (MPE) to assume product management responsibility for the "MPE on demand" service, a specialized, knowledge-intensive personnel service providing certified radiation protection support to medical facilities. You will be responsible for the business success of the service, driving sustainable revenue growth, and strategically developing the offering based on market trends. Day-to-day activities involve providing expert technical leadership to a dedicated MPE team, defining service standards, and ensuring seamless delivery. You will also act as a technical consultant to the sales department, creating customized proposals and initiating sales activities to attractively position the service in the market. The position requires a strong combination of clinical workflow expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills, offering significant flexibility with mobile work options within Germany.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Medical Physics, OR a degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field. Certified Medical Physics Expert (MPE) in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine is highly preferred.

Experience

  • Long-term professional experience in Medical Physics
  • Long-term experience in Product Management of radiological systems or services (alternative qualification)
  • Experience in consulting activities within a clinical environment
  • Experience in analyzing large data sets and evaluating statistical variables
  • Initial technical leadership experience (ideal)

Additional

  • Willingness to travel within Germany (approx. 10-20%) for customer visits. Role can be performed full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours per week). Requires ability to work mobile within Germany (up to 60% of working time).
