Job Summary

This crucial role involves driving the future of medical technology by specializing in magnetic field shielding, radiation protection, and building physics within an industrial setting. The Physicist will primarily simulate, measure, and optimize magnetic field shielding, pushing for automation and standardization. Day-to-day tasks include conducting autonomous on-site measurements of magnetic fields and structural vibrations, consulting with R&D and external partners, and training internal project managers on technical solutions. A key responsibility is managing radiation protection calculations according to DIN standards and integrating complex building physics aspects (thermal, acoustic, static) into sustainable architectural concepts. They will also support complex shielding projects, such as mobile MRI solutions, and utilize existing Finite Element (FE) data for developing AI-supported approaches. Candidates must possess a Master's degree or PhD in Physics or Medical Physics and strong experience with FEM simulations. This position offers significant professional development, a flexible work model (up to 60% mobile work), and the potential for future leadership responsibilities.
