Job Summary

This role is central to the factory and assembly planning within the Building Automation department, focusing on integrating physical infrastructure with digital solutions. The engineer is responsible for creating detailed planning documents for Building Automation and Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MCR) technology, while also acting as a technical consultant for sales and project execution teams. A key component of the role involves leveraging innovative techniques such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) to create digital building twins. Day-to-day tasks include developing and integrating complex application-specific solutions, optimizing planning processes for standardization, and establishing standards, templates, and tools for efficient BIM project implementation. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Building Automation or Electrical Engineering) or equivalent technical certification, possess professional experience in the field, and demonstrate proficiency in CAD systems like AutoCAD and Revit. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed university degree in Building Automation, Supply Engineering, MCR Technology, Electrical Engineering, or similar, or comparable vocational training with further qualification as a Master/Technician.

  • Professional experience in Building Automation
  • Industry, product, and solution knowledge in Building Automation
  • Experience in creating factory and assembly planning documents
  • Professional experience in developing and realizing complex application-specific solutions
  • Experience with MCR control schemes according to VDI 3814 (ideal)
  • Current experience using Desigo (advantageous)
