Job Summary

This role at Siemens Mobility involves providing essential service and maintenance for complex railway safety technology systems, such as electronic and relay interlocking systems and level crossing safety installations. The successful candidate will be based in Ulm but operate in field service nationwide across Germany, ensuring the operational readiness of critical rail infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing electrical/electronic systems, performing detailed fault analysis and troubleshooting, and assisting colleagues with system commissioning and decommissioning. You will also inspect safety technology installations, control technical documentation, and act as a competent technical contact for customers. Key requirements include completed vocational training in electrical or mechatronic engineering and initial professional experience in rail control and safety technology.
