Job Summary

This R&D role focuses on executing and managing comprehensive type testing for digital protection and field devices, communication converters, and various components. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining, performing, and documenting tests such as product safety checks, climatic and mechanical evaluations, and achieving UL certifications. The engineer is crucial in planning and procuring the necessary hardware and software for test environments, and developing, commissioning, and maintaining specialized test stations. Furthermore, the role involves supporting development and product management through design reviews and risk analyses, and coordinating extensively with external testing and accreditation bodies according to ISO 17025. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in a relevant engineering field and possesses several years of type testing experience, complemented by fluent German and English skills.
