Job Summary

This leadership role requires a highly skilled and motivated professional to manage the Siemens Financial Services (SFS) Office IT and foundational IT infrastructure portfolio. The Service Owner acts as a trusted advisor to the SFS business, translating complex business needs and regulatory requirements into effective IT demands, ensuring optimal leverage of existing Siemens IT services. Key daily tasks involve leading and mentoring a team of internal IT Service Managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners. The role also involves strategic planning, budget management for the IT portfolio, steering the sourcing of service providers, and driving innovation by exploring new technologies. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in a related field and at least six years of proven IT experience, including several years in a leadership capacity, preferably within the financial industry, to succeed in this complex, global environment.
