Job Summary

This role involves developing inductive sensor systems crucial for axle counting systems installed on railway tracks, significantly enhancing rail safety and efficiency. The Hardware Developer will independently analyze requirements from product management, assess technical feasibility, and contribute to project planning. Key responsibilities include developing system components such as coil systems, computer assemblies, and housing, and integrating them into the final sensor system. The role requires conducting independent developer tests in the lab and on the test track, maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout the development lifecycle, and acting as a verifier in parallel departmental projects. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Physics) and possess extensive professional experience in developing safety-relevant hardware circuits and analog circuit technology. Strong English and German language skills are required, along with a willingness to travel (approx. 5%).
