Job Summary

This Senior DevOps Platform Engineer role is vital for advancing Railigent X, Siemens Mobility's open IoT platform that leverages AI and Big Data to revolutionize rail asset management. You will hold a key position in the evolution and operation of core platform components, deployment pipelines, and the security architecture. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the conception, implementation, and reliable operation of a high-availability platform built on AWS Cloud-Native Services and Kubernetes. A crucial part of the role involves defining the platform architecture for critical applications, ensuring compliance during ISO 27001 audits, and managing the migration of applications and services. Furthermore, you will coach and recruit internal and external teams, advising management on technical strategy. This position requires deep expertise in modern software architectures, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD, coupled with an 'enabler' mindset in an agile, global DevOps environment.
