Job Summary
This specialist role focuses on the comprehensive planning and project management of Building and Room Automation systems, primarily utilizing the Desigo platform. Key daily responsibilities include the design and dimensioning of management and automation levels, specifying necessary switch cabinets, cabling, and field devices. The role requires the analysis of existing systems through documentation and potential site inspections, collaborating with the Field Service to develop economically viable concepts for system modernization. Acting as crucial sales support, the incumbent will communicate extensively with customers, sales teams, and project management, independently creating customized, high-quality proposals to foster sustainable customer retention. Success in this position requires a strong technical background, professional experience in building automation planning, and a proactive commitment to engaging with new, cloud-based solutions and digital technologies. The position offers flexibility, including 2-3 days of mobile working per week.
Required Skills
Education
Successful completion of a technical university degree OR certified technician/master qualification (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker/Meister) with several years of professional experience and relevant further training.
Experience
- Professional experience in the planning, projecting, or commissioning of Building Automation systems
- Professional experience in analyzing existing systems using system documentation
- Prior knowledge in the field of Building Automation (Optimal)
- Experience in working according to high quality standards
