Job Summary

This Configuration Manager role focuses on ensuring the integrity and traceability of products within Siemens Mobility's Rail Electrification sector. The successful candidate will take holistic responsibility for configuration and change management across various products and projects. Day-to-day tasks include defining, documenting, and implementing CM processes in collaboration with internal and external partners (e.g., Procurement, Project Management). A core duty involves managing all configuration elements—including software, hardware, and documentation—to maintain high-quality, integrated data structures. You will also optimize CM processes, conduct configuration audits alongside Quality Assurance, and serve as the central expert, advising and training development and project teams. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, several years of relevant experience in Configuration or Project Management, and familiarity with CM tools like PLM systems, SAP, and/or Teamcenter.
