Job Summary

This critical role involves the global, on-site commissioning of frequency converters for Siemens Mobility customers. The Test and Commissioning Engineer is responsible for coordinating sub-trades, performing adjustments and optimizations of parameters for protection and control functions, particularly within module management and current control systems. A core duty involves meticulous documentation of test results and updating project documentation, such as circuit diagrams. You will regularly report the project status to project management and various stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to be an active part of a global expert network, helping to establish and promote developed methodologies within the international Siemens Mobility community. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or Control Engineering, coupled with several years of experience in frequency converter engineering. Professional fluency in both German and English is required, along with mandatory worldwide travel readiness.
