Job Summary

This role involves independently leading nationwide projects in Building Automation, focusing on creating Smart Buildings through the networking of systems and intelligent data processing. The Project Manager will coordinate projects for new construction, expansion, modernization, or migration of Building Automation systems from start to finish. Key responsibilities include defining project strategy, planning phases, and ensuring execution meets technical, economic, and time-related objectives while managing risks and opportunities. The successful candidate will act as the primary customer interface, coordinating technical and organizational matters, and ensuring satisfaction even during the warranty phase. Essential qualifications include a technical degree or equivalent certification (Master Craftsman/Technician) in Building Automation/MCR technology, extensive project management experience in this field, and strong knowledge of HVAC systems, control cabinet construction, and relevant industry standards. This position offers significant autonomy and the chance to shape the future of smart infrastructure.

Required Skills

Education

Technical university degree in Building Automation or MCR Technology, or comparable vocational training with further qualification as a Master Craftsman or Technician. Project management certification is desirable.

Experience

  • Many years of project management experience in the field of Building Automation
  • Foundational knowledge in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning technology
  • Professional experience with project execution and relevant contract law, claim management, and standards (VDE, VDI)
  • Initial technical leadership experience
