Day-to-day responsibilities involve hands-on technical work, including commissioning, system integration, warranty management, and maintenance. The engineer will conduct independent fault analysis and troubleshooting on rail vehicles, often supported by innovative IT systems. Furthermore, the role requires managing technical interfaces with project stakeholders and assisting in customer acceptance procedures. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics. This position offers extensive professional development and training to become an expert in the future-oriented rail industry. Candidates must be prepared for significant international travel (several months) to railway depots and partner workshops worldwide, making adaptability and strong language skills essential.
