Job Summary

This role involves acting as the site manager for the assembly, maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of critical rail power supply systems across Germany. Day-to-day tasks include managing converter plants for mainline rail (16.7Hz), DC substations for urban transport (S/U/trams), and e-mobility charging infrastructure. The Specialist Construction Manager independently oversees product- and system-specific assembly and service work, manages both internal and external personnel, ensures system availability, and creates necessary technical documentation and performance reports. A key responsibility is managing change orders (Nachtragsmanagement) for projects while strictly adhering to occupational, health, and environmental safety regulations. Candidates must possess a completed electrical engineering qualification, further training as an Electrical Engineering Site Manager, and professional experience, preferably in rail or industrial power supply. This permanent position with Siemens Mobility offers the chance to contribute actively to climate protection and the transport transition, requiring extensive Germany-wide travel and participation in on-call duty.

Experience

  • Experience preferably in rail power supply, national power supply, or the industrial sector
  • Qualified Electrician status (Elektrofachkraft)
  • Current switching authorization for medium/high voltage
