Job Summary

This role requires an Electrical Specialist to join Siemens' global competence center for gas-insulated switchgear in Frankfurt, focusing on electrical function testing for medium-voltage systems. The successful candidate will be crucial in supporting innovative manufacturing processes and future projects. Day-to-day responsibilities involve performing electrical and mechanical function tests according to customer-specific circuit diagrams, utilizing defined testing equipment, and meticulously documenting all test results. A core function includes monitoring test sequences, conducting thorough troubleshooting and fault analysis upon deviations, and initiating the correction of assembly, component, or wiring errors. Candidates must possess a completed technical education in a field like Industrial Electronics or Electrical Engineering, ideally bringing professional experience and knowledge of switchgear systems.
