Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Laboratory Technician joining the Quality Management team at a regional dairy company in Freising (near Munich). The core responsibility involves ensuring product safety and premium quality by conducting chemical-physical, sensory, or microbiological laboratory examinations. Day-to-day tasks include testing raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products (such as milk and butter) based on sampling plans, thereby monitoring the entire production process from milk reception to the final product. You will be responsible for documenting results, actively communicating findings with departments like Quality Management, Production, and Technology, and supporting the analysis of new products within Research and Development. The position requires vocational training in a relevant scientific field, initial practical experience in laboratory analysis, and the flexibility to reliably work within a demanding 3-shift system, including weekends and holidays. This is a permanent position within a stable, internationally growing food group.

Required Skills

Education

Vocational training as a Dairy Laboratory Technician, Agricultural Technical Assistant, Biology/Chemistry Laboratory Technician (BTA/CTA), or comparable specialization.

Experience

  • Professional experience in microbiological and/or chemical-physical laboratory analysis (ideal)
  • Experience working within a 3-shift system (early, late, night, weekends, holidays)

German (Fluent)
