Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Laboratory Technician to join the Quality Management team at a premium dairy producer in Freising, near Munich. The core responsibility is ensuring product safety and quality by performing chemical-physical, sensory, and microbiological analyses on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished dairy goods (milk, butter, etc.). The technician will monitor the entire production chain, document results meticulously, and collaborate closely with Production, Quality Management, and Technical departments. A key aspect of the role involves supporting research and development by analyzing new products and assisting in the validation of new analytical methods. Candidates must possess relevant vocational training (e.g., Dairy Lab Technician, CTA, or BTA) and ideally bring initial practical experience in laboratory analysis. Due to the nature of food production, the position requires accuracy, reliability, and the willingness to work a demanding 3-shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, securing a permanent role within an internationally growing company.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Dairy Laboratory Technician, Agricultural Technical Assistant, Biology/Chemistry Laboratory Technician, Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), or comparable specialization.

Experience

  • Initial practical experience in microbiological laboratory analysis
  • Initial practical experience in chemical-physical laboratory analysis
  • Professional experience working within a regulated laboratory environment

Languages

German (Fluent)

  • Willingness to work in a demanding 3-shift system (early, late, and night shifts) including weekends and holidays.
