Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for an Onsite IT Support Technician to join a leading technology service provider specializing in Device as a Service solutions for major industrial clients in Munich. Day-to-day responsibilities involve managing inventory for the customer service point, imaging and deploying loaner notebooks according to specifications, and providing crucial telephone support during mobile device rollouts. You will coordinate service appointments and directly assist the central service point on the client's campus, handling the distribution of peripheral equipment like headsets and conference phones for Skype for Business. The ideal candidate possesses completed vocational training in an IT field, such as System Integration, and strong hardware knowledge covering PCs, notebooks, iPhones, and iPads. Good German language skills and a Class B driving license are mandatory. This position offers a long-term perspective with options for specialization and a supportive team environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Completed vocational training in an IT environment (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or equivalent qualification is desirable
  • Professional experience with hardware of mobile devices (iPhones, iPads) and PCs/Notebooks
  • Advantageous experience using Asset Management tools (Valuemation, USU, or HP Service Manager)
