Job Summary

This permanent position at the Hessian State Laboratory (LHL) in Wiesbaden involves crucial analytical work within the field of organic contaminants and environmental analysis, supporting consumer protection efforts in Hessen. The successful candidate will primarily focus on determining mycotoxins and other natural toxins in food and feed matrices. This is achieved through advanced instrumental analysis, specifically using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Liquid Chromatography with Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Daily responsibilities include complex sample preparation (crushing, homogenization), data acquisition, evaluation, and input into laboratory software (WinLims). A core requirement is adherence to quality assurance measures (ISO 17025) and active participation in developing new analytical procedures. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Chemical Technical Assistant or Laboratory Technician, coupled with professional experience in instrumental analysis, reliability, and strong technical aptitude.
