Job Summary

The State Office for Digitization, Broadband and Surveying (LDBV) is seeking a dedicated Cloud Architect to join their team in Munich. This crucial role involves the creation and continuous maintenance of robust cloud processes and architectures, which are vital for the digitization and networking efforts across Bavaria. Day-to-day tasks include providing expert consultation regarding optimal cloud usage, supporting the necessary software procurement processes, and developing internal operational guidelines, design patterns, and training programs for staff. Candidates must hold a successfully completed university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Computer Science or a comparable field, or relevant IT vocational training combined with extensive further education in two IT special fields. Success requires multi-year professional experience in the specified area, coupled with deep expertise in implementing cloud solutions and multi-cloud competence, specifically referencing platforms like Azure and IBM. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's Degree (FH or University) in Computer Science or a comparable field; or Completed IT vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist)

Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in cloud architecture and process management following a university degree (Dipl.-FH or Bachelor)
  • Fundamentally sound professional knowledge in the implementation of cloud solutions and multi-cloud environments
  • Alternatively: Multi-year professional experience combined with extensive further training in two IT special fields (e.g., IT Project Management, IT Infrastructure) after IT vocational training
