Job Summary

This role involves managing and optimizing IT services and processes for a specialized IT Services and Security company in Munich. The IT Service Manager will be responsible for coordinating activities, aligning with departments on existing contracts, and strategically optimizing the service portfolio based on needs. Key daily tasks include building and expanding existing process landscapes, ensuring documentation and quality control, and establishing an ITIL-based Service Desk. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant IT qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration), experience in project execution, and strong foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure and communication processes (including data center operations, LAN/WAN, Windows Client/Server, and Workplaces). Strong communication skills and social competence are essential, and an ITIL certification is highly desirable. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in the IT sector (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or similar qualification; ITIL Certification (ideally)

Experience

  • Professional experience in the IT sector (e.g., as IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Customer Consultant, IT System Electronics Technician, IT System Merchant, IT Service Technician, Information Electronics Technician)
  • Experience in the execution of projects
  • Foundational IT knowledge and understanding of infrastructure and communication processes
  • Experience in tendering IT services or hardware and software (ideally)
