Job Summary

This role involves leading the planning and execution of testing and commissioning activities for HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) systems, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budget, and quality standards. The Manager will lead and coordinate an international team of commissioning engineers, ensuring compliance with contractual, legal, and safety requirements, including occupational health and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include organizing and supervising Functional System Tests and Factory Acceptance Tests (hardware/software pre-checks), managing smooth site operations, and documenting project progress for internal and external stakeholders. Candidates must possess a degree or equivalent technical qualification (Master/Technician) in Electrical or Energy Technology, coupled with significant professional experience in commissioning large-scale systems such as power plants or switchgear. Strong leadership skills, project management knowledge, and fluency in both German and English are essential, as the role requires willingness for long-term, worldwide assignments, potentially offshore.
