Job Summary

This role involves establishing and implementing robust IT and Cyber Security governance structures specifically tailored for the German region within a dynamic engineering firm. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing security incidents, assessing cyber risks, and making critical decisions regarding daily security operations. You will be responsible for creating and reviewing security designs and concepts, approving data protection standards, and conducting audits of firewall and proxy rules. Furthermore, you will be the key representative for German IT security matters to international partners and will lead internal awareness campaigns. The ideal candidate possesses a completed degree in IT or equivalent qualification, proven experience in IT and Cyber Security operations, and a deep understanding of complex security architectures. The position requires professional experience in project management and standardization, alongside fluent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
