Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled Backend Developer passionate about modern platform architectures and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD). Day-to-day responsibilities involve reverse-engineering and adapting existing automation mechanisms, implementing them within a GitOps context, and creating compliance-compliant automated processes for delivery packages. You will also prepare technical decision documents, document technical components, and transfer knowledge through workshops, reporting risks to System Architects and Product Management. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or a related field, deep experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, Docker containerization, and practical experience with AWS cloud technologies (CDK, Lambda, EC2). This position offers a permanent contract, flexible hours, and is 90% remote, requiring only 10% on-site presence in Frankfurt am Main. Strong German and English skills are required, with German being the primary project working language.
