Job Summary

This role, based in Munich within the aerospace sector, seeks an experienced SAP Basis System Specialist to maintain and secure critical SAP environments. The specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of incidents and change requests related to SAP Basis, primarily focusing on user administration and authorization management via ServiceNow and Jira. Key day-to-day tasks include performing detailed error analyses in the authorization landscape, managing system transports, and meticulously documenting all work steps and solutions within the respective ticketing systems. Success requires fundamental experience with SAP system architecture, strong knowledge of authorization and role concepts, and familiarity with crucial SAP transactions (like SU01, PFCG, SU53). The role also involves contributing to strategic projects, such as GRC implementation and system release upgrades, demanding a structured, service-oriented, and independent work ethic while closely collaborating with the internal SAP Technology and Platforms Team.
