Job Summary

This role seeks a Master Electrician or Technician specializing in Fiber Optic Technology to ensure the reliable and fault-free operation of the passive fiber optic network. Key daily tasks involve conducting precise OTDR measurements, analyzing fault locations, and implementing sustainable troubleshooting solutions. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining splice plans, updating network documentation systems (ideally Rimo), and overseeing network changes. A critical component of the role is work preparation, planning employee deployments, and coordinating external teams (e.g., civil engineering, LWL assembly). You will also perform final quality control checks and technical acceptance of newly constructed network sections before handover. Candidates must possess a completed Technician or Master qualification in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering and proven experience in NE3 and NE4 fiber optics, alongside familiarity with OTDR measurements and splicing techniques.
