Job Summary

This role involves working as an Automation Engineer or Technician within a leading biotechnology company specializing in pharmaceutical ingredients for cancer therapy. Based at the development and production site near Hamburg, the professional will be responsible for overseeing and planning the installation, qualification, and commissioning of automation devices in a pharmaceutical environment, specifically for fermenters, product isolation/purification systems, and GMP-regulated supply systems. Key responsibilities include creating and approving technical automation documentation, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the continuous, GMP-compliant operation of process plants through system support of automation and process control systems. The ideal candidate possesses a background in electrical or automation engineering, extensive professional experience in control and drive technology, and practical experience executing automation projects, preferably within regulated industries like pharma, food, or chemical manufacturing.
