Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Department of Applied Biosciences and Process Engineering at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences by managing and conducting practical exercises in Pharmaceutical Chemistry for Bachelor's and Master's students. The Technical Associate will be responsible for the organization and supervision of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry laboratory, including planning, setting up, and testing new experiments. A significant part of the job involves supporting research and development projects, specifically the planning and execution of organic-chemical syntheses for low-molecular-weight active ingredients. The successful candidate must possess a university degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field, coupled with practical experience in preparative organic work and analytical methods like HPLC, MS, and NMR. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a similar, relevant field

Experience

  • Knowledge and experience in preparative organic work
  • Knowledge and experience in liquid chromatography
  • Professional experience in chemical analysis procedures (HPLC, MS, NMR)
  • Foundational knowledge in Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Active Ingredient Development (Advantageous)
