Job Summary

This role involves working as a Systems Engineer focusing on Ground Based Self-Protection Engineering for the defense technology leader HENSOLDT in Taufkirchen. The successful candidate will be instrumental across the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to serial production and maintenance, specifically within the military land sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating on system conceptualization, defining and evaluating customer and system requirements, and providing technical management for internal and external work packages and subcontractors. A core function is the design of system and subsystem components, defining their interfaces, and establishing verification and qualification test procedures. The role requires integrating, commissioning, and testing systems, creating essential development and proof documentation, and ensuring quality, cost, and schedule adherence for assigned tasks. Candidates must possess a degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, coupled with professional experience in Systems Engineering and strong German and good English language skills.
