Job Summary

This pivotal role as the Global Manufacturing Manager for Downstream Processing (DSP) within the MS&T Drug Substance team requires a highly skilled expert to drive operational excellence in biopharmaceutical purification. The core responsibilities include providing deep technical expertise in critical DSP technologies such as chromatography, various filtration methods (depth, tangential flow, virus), and virus inactivation techniques. The manager will be responsible for the successful development, implementation, and optimization of these processes across the manufacturing lifecycle. A key aspect of the job involves close collaboration with internal teams, contract manufacturers, and network partners globally to ensure product quality and process ownership. Candidates must possess an advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline and extensive experience in process development, optimization, and technical transfer within the biotech environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
